Trumpeter:
Web Dialog Delivery System -- Trumpeter is a web dialogue
content delivery engine allowing visitors to your web site to make
comments, or add other dialogue without requiring you to install any
any server-side services. The Trumpeter engine is targeted at: bloggers,
web designers, software developers and other people managing web content
looking for an easy to use service to manage visitor dialog. An example
of using Trumpeter to allow the addition of user comments to a web
page can be seen here.

Bumps:
GeoModeling Tools -- Numeric Solutions' Bumps is a geomodeling
framework consisting of basic tools for developing and analyzing 2D
and 3D spatial models and extending enterprise geomodeling tools such
as EarthVision,
Gocad,
Landmark Graphics and ESRI
GIS tools. The goal of this toolkit is to provide scientists and engineers
a suite of applications and
source code (C/C++, Java, Perl) to develop spatial models on UNIX
& Linux platforms. These tools, developed during geospatial consulting
projects, include time-tested and high performance spatial modeling
command-line applications (including: Inverse Distance Weighted "IDW"
interpolation, Kernel Density Interpolation), advanced 3D visualization
tools (including an Open Inventor 3D volume viewer) and import/export
utilities for integration with other spatial modeling tools. |

Grid
to ESRI Shapefile Converter -- This package includes the
source code and binaries (Linux RedHat 7.2 to 9.0 and SGI IRIX 6.5.12)
for converting Dynamic Graphics Inc.
(DGI) EarthVision 2D grids into ESRI
Shapefile files so that they can be used in a GIS (including ArcView,
ArcGIS, ArcInfo, etc.). Additionally, this application has been integrated
into a DGI Earthvision Macro for seamless integration into the EarthVision
3D model building and visualization software.

Spatial
Interpolation Engine -- Numeric Solutions' online interpolation
system for creating 2D grids from irregularly spaced data, has been
utilized by our clients for spatial modeling and reservoir characterization.
The system provides users a front-end user interface to the commonly
used interpolation routines provided by GSLib
and the R statistical computing
environment and can be easily configured to use other interpolation
engines. The value of this system is: 1] CPU intensive interpolation
processes may be dedicated to a single host and 2] because all processing
is done at a single node, the license fees corresponding to the interpolation
software are limited. Output from this system can be used with Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) and other modeling, statistical or mathematical

Gazelle:
Online Gazetteer -- Our gazetteer application uses the
Numeric Solutions location finder webservice, online mapping, and
geoindexing system to provide the data and infrastructure required
to host an enterprise gazetteer database. This service may be used
for place name searches, finding nearest known places to a geographic
point, spatial modeling and integration with Geographic Information
Systems (GIS). This product consists of a database which can be populated
with census data (US and/or international), a Java Servlet Web Application
(WAR) used for serving spatial data over the internet, and management
and analytical tools.
